Welcome
The Mid-East Honors Association (MEHA) represents honors programs in universities and colleges across the mid-east region through an annual conference, lunch and learns and email communication. Two open meetings, one in the spring at the annual conference and one at the National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC) conference, are held annually.
Mission
Through sharing information about honors programs and best honors practices region-wide, MEHA hopes to create an intellectual, programmatic, and administrative network of resources aimed at helping the region’s honors programs grow and thrive.
Seeking 2025-26 Vice President
MEHA still needs a Vice President for the 2025-26 academic year! The Vice President is vital in helping put the program together for the annual conference as well as providing general idea contribution and support to the President. The Vice President will also become President for the 2026-27 academic year and host the MEHA 2027 Conference with support from the Immediate Past President as well as the incoming executive committee members. If you are interested in serving as Vice President, please email MEHA President Karrie Jean at honprog@iu.edu.
