BY MICHAEL CHAMBERS

Last month I was able to attend my first official conference at the Mid East Honors Association in Indianapolis, where I gave my first scholarly presentation on Impostor Phenomenon Experienced by Transfer Students from Community Colleges.

The hosting schools were the Ron & Laura Strain Honors College at the University of Indianapolis and the Honors College at Ivy Tech Community College.

To top it all off, I hosted a plenary panel with Dr. David Thiele from the University of Mount Union, Mya Bell from Purdue University Northwest, Dr. Galit Gertsenzon from Ball State University, Mariam Sajjad from Cleveland State University, and Dr. Carmon Hicks from Ivy Tech Community College Indianapolis where we discussed Honors programs and how to “Expand Our Circle”!

Thank you to James WilliamsDeborah BachmannM. Beth Borst, Ed.D. (she, her, hers) Alexander Kaufman, Nicholas SoltisConor Dailey, and Austin Tamez for being an awesome executive board!
